Why UCO?

India has seen a spectacular success in IT and computers which is acknowledged around the world. But computer education in our country is highly fragmented and is without any common goal or platform. Realising the huge importance of streamlined and competitive education in computers & IT and with a view to fortifying India’s success, Unified Council has forayed into Unified Cyber Olympiad (UCO).

It motivates children to strengthen their knowledge of using mental ability, logical reasoning & computer knowledge. Proficiency in these areas will help them in overcoming problems related to software, management crises, lack of judgement and decision-making.

Unified Cyber Olympiad(UCO), which will be held across the country with the following goals :

  • Streamlining computer education
  • Instilling competitiveness in computer education
  • Including logic, reasoning and mental ability in the learning process
  • Identifying talent and assessing students on a nationwide platform
  • Exposing students to the latest technology and study in computers

UCO will be conducted at two levels. The first level exam will be conducted in respective school premises. 500 students from every class will be selected for the second level exam, which will be conducted at the nearest selected State Head Quarters/Main Towns.


Exam Schedule: (1st LeveL)

Date of Examination : 17-09-2019 (Tuesday) & 01-10-2019 (Tuesday)

Time : 11:00 a.m – 12:00 noon

Last Date for receiving applications: 10-08-2019

Exam Fee:

Rs. 150/- (Rupees Hundred and Twenty only)

Students desirous of referring to Model Question Papers should add Rs. 40 for a set Model/Previous Question Papers.

Exam Structure:

This exam will be conducted in two levels.

First level will be conducted in the school premises of the respective schools.

Second level for the top 500 students from each class/grade will be conducted in the nearest selected State Head Quarters/Main Towns.

Exam Pattern:

The medium of the test will be English.

There will be a different question paper for each class.

All the questions are of the objective-type with no negative marking for wrong answers.

UCO question papers are more class specific than syllabus specific. Please refer the syllabus provided. Unified Cyber Olympiad question papers are suitable for students following CBSE / ICSE / ISC and various other State Board syllabi.

Detail of Awards:

Gold Medals & Cash Awards for the first 3 in each Class (Rank 1-3)

  1. UCO-Topper is awarded a cash prize ofRs. 2, 00,000 cash prize*.
    • The student who achieves the highest percentage of marks in among all the classes is declared as UCO Topper.

C. The next 7 rankers of each class (Ranks 4-10) are awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1000 each. 

D. The next 15 rankers of each class (Ranks 11-25) of classes II-X are awarded a cash prize of Rs. 500 each. 

Top 100 rankers in each class are awarded with a Britannica Encyclopedia of India and The Weather – 2 CD PACK worth Rs. 1090.

Top 100 rankers from each class are awarded with Reasoning Trainer Plus Book, from M/s Brain Mapping Academy, a Medal and a certificate of appreciation.

All the National, Zone Rankers of classes 1-9 are offered a voucher worth Rs. 400 from www.mapmySTEP.com – India’s FIRST scientifically designed portal for Olympiad& Talent exams preparation.


All the top rankers from 1-100 are awarded a Medal and a certificate of appreciation.

Certificate and Cyber Diagnostic Report (CDR) for all the participants.


Top 3 rankers in each Zone are awarded with 2 CD pack of Britannica Encyclopedia of India and The Weather – 2 CD PACK worth Rs. 1090. a Medal and certificate of appreciation.

Note: Zone wise ranks are declared after excluding the top 100 ranks across the country.


Top 3 rankers in each class of each school are delared as class 1,2 and 3 rankers. Class Toppers are awarded a Medal and a certificate of Appreciation, each. .

UCO Topper* The student who achieves 100% marks in any of the classes will be awarded with prize money of Rs.2, 00,000. If none of the students achieves the same, then the student who achieves the highest percentage of marks among all the classes will be awarded with Rs.1, 00,000. If more than one student achieves the same, the prize money will be distributed equally. Each topper will get either this prize or the regular prize (refer B).

Cyber Diagnostic Reports (CDR)

We provide Cyber Diagnostic Report (CDR) for individual students, which have the following details:

  • Subject wise – Skill wise performance graphical representation
  • Over all ranking in the National level
  • Group Highest mark
  • Group Average mark CDR provides a real feedback on real learning. It allows the students to know where he/she stands and pinpoints areas of strengths and weakness. This report is for feedback and improvement.
